MakerSpace

Our High School Makerspace is a result of the funding contest we won in 2017. This place is not just a physical space for creation; it is an incubator for ideas and learning experiences. We seek that through real-life projects and challenges, our students develop the necessary skills to participate actively in the new creative economy from now.

We have tools and machinery from these different disciplines:
  • Woodwork
  • Textiles and wearables design
  • Electronics
  • Digital Fabrication

The physical space and the Maker STEAM methodology work in synergy to create meaningful learning experiences where our students discover themselves as tech creators and reflect on their own abilities and unique talents. Our Makerspace is a success story around the globe on how alternative learning environments could empower girls and young women to transform the world.
